🍒 While you wait: the Great Baklava Debate
Turkish, Greek, Armenian, Lebanese... pretty much everyone around the old Ottoman table has a story about who perfected baklava first. Historians trace layered, nut-filled pastries back to the Ottoman palace kitchens in Istanbul, with roots that may reach even further, into Central Asian and Persian cooking traditions. Wherever it truly started, we can all agree on one thing: more butter, more phyllo, no regrets. Come taste our take on it October 3rd and form your own opinion (respectfully, of course).
